Male Juvenile Arrest

On August 1, 2017 at 8:10pm a Sandwich Officer made contact with an individual in the 900 Block of East Church Street, Sandwich. After investigating, a 17 year old Male Juvenile of Sandwich was arrested and charged with a Warrant out of DeKalb County for Delivery of Controlled Substance and Burglary to Motor Vehicle. The juvenile was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. He was then transported to the Juvenile Justice Center in St. Charles, Illinois.

Male Juvenile Arrest

On July 28, 2017 at 5:30pm Sandwich Officers responded to the 100 Block of Cedar Street, Sandwich for a report of a Domestic Battery. After investigating, a 15 year old Male Juvenile of Sandwich was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery. The juvenile was booked at the Sandwich Police Department. He was referred to the DeKalb County Courts.

Daniel A Auberry Arrest

On July 30, 2017 at 11:05am a Sandwich Officer was on patrol and located a vehicle in the soy field in the area of the 700 Block of Duvick Ave. After investigating, 37 year old Daniel A Auberry of the 0-100 Block of Woodridge Road, Montgomery was arrested and charged with Leaving the scene of property damage accident and Failure to report accident to Police. Daniel was booked at the Sandwich Police Department. He was given an I-Bond and a court date of August 16, 2017 at 8:30am at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville.

Alex J Dombrowski Arrest

On July 27, 2017 at 6:28pm a Sandwich Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 Block of East Church Street, Sandwich. The driver 33 year old Alex J Dombrowski of the 300 Block of Wentworth Drive, Sandwich was arrested and charged with Driving while License Revoked and a Municipal Code Violation for Illegal Cell Phone Use. Alex was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. He posted bond and was released with a court date of August 16, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Sandwich City Court.

Rod D Wessels Arrest

On July 27, 2017 at 1:30am Sandwich Officers responded to the 1100 Block of East Railroad, Sandwich for repeated calls to 911 for non-emergencies. After investigating, 57 year old Rod D Wessels of the 1100 Block of East Railroad, Sandwich was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct (Felony) and Obstructing a Peace Officer. Rod was transported to Valley West Hospital and then the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. He was then transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore to await bond call.

Ronald J Poore Arrest

On July 25, 2017 at 3:01pm Sandwich Officers responded to the 100 Block of East Railroad Street, Sandwich for a report of a subject that defrauded a drug test. After investigating, 20 year old Ronald J Poore of the 200 block of Maple Street, Somonauk was arrested and charged with Defrauding a Drug Test. Ronald was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. He was then transported to the DeKalb County Jail in Sycamore.

Max E Kohley Arrest

On July 26, 2017 at 3:21am Sandwich Officers were dispatched to Valley West Hospital ER, 1302 North Main Street, Sandwich for a patient that had a gun in his possession. After investigating, 28 year old Max E Kohley of the 800 block of South Ottawa Street, Earlville was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of Firearm without FOID and Unlawful Use of Weapons. Max was transported to the Sandwich Police Department for booking procedures. He posted bond and was released with a court date of August 16, 2017 at 9:00am at the Sandwich City Court.
